My friends and I had lunch at Toa Payoh outlet. We are very impressed with the restaurant Manager, Mr Krishnan for his excellent & friendly service. He has provided good recommendation such as delicious steak. We are appreciate that the staff put in extra effort to pack the sour dough bread. We really enjoyed the food and also the excellent service by the ground staff as well. The environment is very cozy. A Big thank you to all the staff and restaurant manager at Toa Payoh outlet. We have been visiting Jack’s Place at OrangeTee Toa Payoh for the past 4 years, and every visit has always been a pleasant experience. The staff here are consistently friendly, attentive, and create such a cozy and welcoming atmosphere that keeps us coming back. Today being Mother’s Day, we ordered two Mother’s Day set meals. Although the baked potato was not included in the set, Restaurant Manager Krishnan learnt that baked potato is my favourite side dish. To brighten my day, he kindly served me an extra baked potato as a special gesture. It may seem like a small gesture, but it truly meant a lot to us and made our Mother’s Day celebration even more special and memorable. Thank you Krishnan and the wonderful team at Jack’s Place OrangeTee Toa Payoh for your excellent service and heartfelt hospitality over the years! Bad experience at this outlet. Upon entering the outlet, we saw only one person serving and nobody attended to us. There was no bell or anything to alert the staff that there are customers waiting to be seated. We waited for quite a while then only the staff attended to us and seated us down. The $18.80++ combo set serving is so pathetically small, chicken portion is only about half the normal size and the slipper lobster (crayfish) is bland and tasteless. It even boast that the normal price is usually $20 over dollars ++. To me, it's not even worth to be $18.80++. No point running promotion but serving undercut portion of the food to customers. Service also not good, asked for topping up of bacon bits, sauce to the baked potatoes but staff display a unhappy attitude to customers. Around 8pm plus staff starting to do cleaning up and preparing to close the outlet, despite still some time away from end of operation hours! Was presented with the bill at around 9pm plus by the staff to make payment. We don't feel at ease and comfortable with this kind of service and atmosphere. Therefore we will never visit Jack's place toa payoh again! Service: Dine in Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
