Jacob’s Dream is a beautiful and refined Chinese restaurant with a cozy, elegant atmosphere located inside Hanns House. Dinner was delicious — I really enjoyed the garlic chicken, which was crispy and flavorful. The breakfast the next morning was also great, especially the pork belly, which I would definitely recommend. A lovely place for both dinner and breakfast with a nice atmosphere and quality food. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Despite a quick stop-by for a cup of coffee, some drawbacks of this place have emerged. First of all, the choices of desert are extremely limited, precisely, desert is only available in a set menu. The service is falling short of the standard of an elegant hotel in such competitive Hsin-Yi business district. The responses to the question from the server was unprofessional. Furthermore, in the slow hours of that day, the same server was sipping her own drink and loafing around at the bar, which, again, really unprofessional. Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4
