Always ordered roast chicken rice from uncle. Not stingy with the chicken. Soup is always full of ingredients unlike other chicken rice stall that I’ve eaten. Unfortunately, didn’t take any photos before I wrote this review. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

It’s rare that I will be in that area. Look thru google map and saw this chicken rice with quite high a rating, as a chicken rice love how can I skip this. So my review: definitely worth trying if you are around the area, I would prefer the chicken seasoned slightly more. The rice is fragrant and not too oily, chicken is tender and soft. The sauce that goes one top is savory and not the same as what u get outside. Please support this hidden gem. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $1–10 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Jade (Kim Cup) Chicken Rice - Woodlands, Singapore - Singaporeans are famously particular about a dish they proudly call their own: chicken rice. If it isn’t prepared to their exacting standards, the stall won’t last long. I’ve enjoyed this iconic dish all over the island, and many places do it well, but what truly sets a great plate apart is the care and heart that go into making and serving it. This particular food centre (kopitiam) has never once disappointed me. Every visit has been consistently delicious, and it’s clear the gentleman behind the counter puts real love into his stall and work. I recommend it very highly. The meals here are truly worth it - the portions are healthy, the presentation looks great, the flavours are delicious, the service is with a friendly smile. We ordered the set with roast chicken and char siew. Both were delectable. The soup that accompanied the meal was peppery and really good! On every visit, the food quality is really high.
