I come here every now and then for the mochi bun. I love the wide variety of flavors and they’re genuinely delicious. Unfortunately, the service from the middle-aged employee often deters me from visiting more frequently. She always seems unfriendly and annoyed all the time. Food: 5 Service: 2 Order type: Takeaway Meal type: Other Price per person: $50–100

Bon Bon bakery I passed by James Bonbon Bakery around 3 o'clock today. I saw no people queuing up, so I put some at the door. I saw the mochi was freshly baked and there were many different flavors. There were only three people queuing in front of me, so I decided to help. There are many people queuing up all the way to Yijia Bakery. The bakery is run by a former pastry chef of the Four Seasons Hotel. It is very popular and has a high reputation among residents. Today I bought matcha, chocolate and earl gray tea flavours. Because they are freshly baked, every bag is steamy. But be careful if you want to separate the bags, they will charge you $3 for each additional bag. Today I didn't eat it hot right away. It was frozen by the time I got home. The bottom turned out to be like a cookie, with a different flavor. The outside was crispy and the inside was airy. Before I bought it and ate it immediately, it had a soft, smoky texture. But if you have to queue for an hour to buy it first, it’s really scary
