Its important to note that this is "James Chicago" pizza, not "Chicago" pizza. At a glance you will see some resemblance between a James Chicago pizza and a traditional deep dish Chicago-styled pizza. Chicago-styled as in the city of Chicago from the great state of Illinois, USA. James Chicago must certainly know the difference. What they serve here in Meongdong, Seoul, South Korea is more like a giant flat doughnut, with ketchupy sauce in the center covered by toppings of your choice. The edge crust has powdered sugar sprinkled on it. If you're not expecting real Chicago pizza, this combination can be pretty good. However, the end result is closer to a breakfast pastry than a Chicago-styled pizza. If you're expecting traditional American pizza, you will be disappointing.
