The first day I arrived cafe was close, but on google shown open. I stayed overnight at Phu Chi Fa area so next day I visited again due to cafe looks nice. Once I arrived there was a staff working in the cafe and just received my order without any attention, and of course he served me wrong order. I told him I order hot americano not ice, he was a bit upset and told me you ordered the ice ones. Without any apologies but blame on me just because he was not paying attention enough. Even this cafe looks nicest in this area but I believed that there are other places with nicer views and nicer service. I was a bit regret to come back. Not recommended at all if you expected good service from a staff here unless they improved it after they saw this review. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5

Jansom Home & Cafe (often written as Jans Om) is a viral "hidden gem" located in the Phu Chi Fa area of Chiang Rai. Though it is a drive from Chiang Mai (where you are currently), it has become a bucket-list destination for travelers exploring the North, thanks to its dreamlike atmosphere and its famous furry host. The Atmosphere: A Dreamy Mountain Escape The cafe is housed in a beautifully weathered wooden cottage that looks like something out of a Ghibli movie. It sits perched on a hillside, offering panoramic views of the rolling mountains. • The "Sea of Mist": If you visit in the early morning (especially during the winter months of November–February), you are often treated to a spectacular view of the mist rolling through the valley. • Cozy Interiors: The inside is filled with warm wood tones, vintage knick-knacks, and large windows that frame the scenery perfectly. The Star of the Show: Moo Yong For many, the main reason to visit isn't just the coffee—it's Moo Yong, the resident Golden Retriever. He is incredibly friendly, calm, and is well-known for "welcoming" guests and posing for photos. He has become a social media star in his own right, often seen lounging on the wooden deck overlooking the mountains. Food & Drink The menu is simple but focuses on quality and homemade comfort: • Signature Coffee: They offer a variety of slow-bar and espresso options using locally sourced beans. The coffee is known for being robust and well-balanced. • Homemade Bakery: The Strawberry Shortcake and various fruit tarts are highly recommended. They are made fresh and aren't overly sweet, pairing perfectly with a hot latte in the cold mountain air. • Craft Items: The cafe also sells small handmade crafts and postcards, which add to the "homey" feel.
