If it so happens that you’re sprinting around the city with kids who demand sushi — right now — then this place is for you. If you have at least ten minutes to spare, you might want to look for somewhere else. But in our case, this was exactly the situation. I’ve been to Japanese restaurants before — and once I burned myself badly on a bowl of ramen. Thankfully, at this place the ramen was served completely cold. Had to ask them to warm it up a bit. If you’re like me and believe food should contain at least five teaspoons of sugar — bingo. The yakisoba and udon were sweet enough to qualify as dessert. For once, I didn’t need to add sugar myself. Service here is selective. If the staff likes you, they’ll bring chopsticks and everything else. If not — you’ll be walking around fetching things on your own. We couldn’t figure out the rule this system operates on, otherwise we’d happily share it with you. The sushi was fine. Nothing wrong with it.
