I came to eat here as a tourist so my tastes may not reflect locals’. Sushi is one of my least favorite foods but since my family eats it often I usually just force myself to eat. However, Jeong Sushi is the tastiest and freshest I’ve ever had. The main reason it’s so good is because they ferment their sushi very well! And to ferment it they told me they use high quality salt from a place called Imja-do. Also, as much as I dislike regular sushi, sashimi is even worse for me. So I can’t really judge this place’s sashimi except that it was so fresh and well cut there was no fishy smell. And they serve it with very tasty gim (김) that is slightly seasoned so it makes it much better for sashimi haters like me. At the end they served spicy fish stew (매운탕), which was absolutely the best! It was so good and unexpected that it was one of the big highlights of eating here in Cheong-ju. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₩20,000–30,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
