If you’re a ramen lover, Jeongseondang (정선당) is a hidden gem you absolutely shouldn’t miss. The moment you walk in, the cozy, slightly retro Japanese vibe hits you—anime posters, warm lighting, and a small, intimate seating setup that makes the whole experience feel authentic and personal. It’s the kind of place that focuses purely on doing ramen right. I ordered their signature tori paitan, and it was outstanding. The broth was rich, creamy, and deeply flavorful without being too heavy. The noodles had the perfect texture, and every topping—from the tender sous vide chicken slices to the soft-boiled egg—was spot on. You can really tell they care about the details. Service was efficient and honest (they even let you know there might be a wait since everything is prepared carefully), which I appreciated. It’s not fast food—it’s quality food. Overall, Jeongseondang delivers one of the most satisfying ramen experiences in Korea. Simple menu, serious execution. I’ll definitely be coming back. The best ramen place and local restaurant in bucheon! I feel so sorry for the people who visit seoul only here. Based with chicken soup, you can choose between plain, miso and spicy! If it’s your first try you better to choose the plain one and if you want something sweet then you should go with miso. The spicy one has same spicy level with Shin Ramyeon. You can ask the chef to make spicy level lower and higher. Soup of ramen is rly heavy and deep! You can’t stop drinking soup until it runs out This place deserve to make you get a line lol! (They also have Maze Soba that you mix noodle with meat paste and Katsudon you have tonkatsu on rice put on soy sauce. They are good!)
