I’m a regular here.. used to like the chicken rice alot but noticed that the quality and quantity has dropped since after CNY.. the yummy meatballs in soup was removed and now it’s just soup alone. The food portion is reduced quite abit. (See photo- it’s just about 5 pieces of very thin meat which fill only about half the tummy of an average eater like me. The same order used to make me very satisfied but now at most half). I gave it another chance and came 2 more times with not too much differences. In the past the portion and price is really reasonable but no more. Hope you can improve on this. Taste is still not bad. Staff service is not bad and they do recognise their regular customers. Atmosphere is nice but aircon is not powerful enough esp in hot afternoon. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

To get to Guoco Midtown II, alight at Bugis MRT Station and use Exit D. This exit brings you directly to Guoco Midtown II. Decor / Ambience ***********************. This eatery features a modern-retro aesthetic defined by its Peranakan-motif patterned floor tiles and clean white walls. The space is brightened by warm pendant lighting and accented with dark wood furnishings and elegant rattan-backed chairs, creating a chic yet nostalgic dining ambience. Food **********. Chicken Rice / SGD8.80 ( dine in) _____________________________________. My hubby had the chicken rice set there. It came with half a hard boiled egg, and soya sauce braised tofu. The chicken rice was flavourful and delicious, and the chicken meat was juicy and succulent. Sambal Seafood Fried Rice= SGD10.80 ( takeaway) ________________________________________. The sambal seafood fried rice was truly delicious, with fragrant rice coated in a savoury & mildly spicy sambal. It came with small prawns and fish slices that added a nice seafood umami flavour. A little disappointed at the service. We have a large group and i wish the staff can be friendlier and give us solution instead of doing nothing. Nevertheless, we helped ourselves to the table and took the extra stools to cater to our group. And we saw a cockroach too. Ordered zhichar style and shared. The chicken and charcoal tofu were not too bad. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20
