If I could rate this place zero, I would. The chicken rice sucks big time. Don’t even waste your time going here. Ordered roasted chicken rice. Soup was literally like water. I think even water tastes better. Chicken was tasteless. Added gizzards, and the gizzards had very very bad taste. Secondly, the price is mad. 6.6 for chicken rice with egg? Goodness. Don’t patronise this stall at all pls. Price per person: SGD 1–10 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

As a longtime fan of the Jew Kit brand, I was thrilled to find their stall located inside the kopitiam at Blk 273 Bukit Batok East Ave 4. If you have been to their full-service restaurants, you will be happy to know that the legendary food quality is almost the same here, but at a fraction of the cost. I had the mixed Steamed & Roast Chicken Rice and the steamed chicken was classic Jew Kit: incredibly smooth, succulent, and tender with that signature collagen layer. The roast chicken was very tender too. The rice was perfectly executed, fragrant, plump, and beautifully separated (粒粒分明). The chilli and thick dark soy sauce are top-tier. I also added the Thai Style Fried Beancurd, which arrived with a perfectly crispy exterior, soft inside, and that wonderfully refreshing, tangy Thai sauce with shredded vegetables. The big difference here is the value. Because it is a coffee shop setting, the pricing is highly reasonable and offers incredible bang for your buck. Naturally, the service is basic self-service hawker style, but for restaurant-grade food at these pocket-friendly prices, it easily earns a full 5 stars. A fantastic neighborhood gem! Food is ok. But the service crew is one kind. Wouldn't bother if there is a queue or not. They will just stand there and have their conversation like nobody's business. Been a customer for since they open this outlet(More than 20 years?), I can say it's disappointing to see their service quality deteriorate over the years. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
