タイ中国料理、チェンマイの老舗レストラン！ 綺麗、美味しい、接客サービス、駐車場有り 全てにおいて優秀で、行く価値あります。 私達は土曜日昼に二人で行きましたが、待つこと無く入店が出来きました。ココナッツジュース、 プーアール茶、豚のスライス焼き、マッシュルーム炒め、鶏肉とアスパラガス煮付け、白ごはんと二人で食べ切れない量を注文してしまったが、なんとお会計は740バーツ也で、コスパはかなりいいと感じました。是非トライしてみて下さい。. ２０２０年２月１９日に訪問。結論：タイの人の感覚での、なんちゃって中華料理と思いました。当方、台湾訪問歴、長年多数。料理そのものは美味いと思いますが。従業員の女性の衣装をチャイナドレスに統一すれば雰囲気だけでも中華になるんですが、タイ風（？）派手派手衣装の女性もそこそこの数で居ると中華の雰囲気は感じられない。

There are 3 Jia Tong Heng Chinese Restaurants in Chiang Mai. The first and original outlet is located near the Night Bazar. It is currently closed because of the flooding in Chiang Mai about 3 weeks ago. Hopefully, it will reopen soon. Of the 3 outlets, I've been to 2, and the one near the Night Bazar is the one I prefer personally. The other restaurant I visited was next to Central Festival Chiang Mai. Today, I am posting a review of the restaurant next (close) to the Central Festival. This is a large restaurant and there is a very large parking space out front. Very convenient. Food quality is not as good, and using the original restaurant branch as a reference point, it leaves much to be desired. Appalling customer service accompanied the above said. Imagine having ordered your food, the main dishes arrive but not the rice. For Chinese food, the accompanying staple is rice, and without it, what would one do ? So we reminded the waiter, and he assured us it's on the way. Another 5 minutes passed, but there was still no rice, so we reminded a waitress this time, and she said also that it's on the way. 10 minutes into this dilemma, I got out of my seat and approached the waitress and told her that I can walk 1 Km in 15 mins and the distance from the kitchen to our table is just 25-30 meters. But since they can't do that in 15 minutes, I will carry it to my table myself. So I followed her to the kitchen. There was no rice, nothing prepared, and by then, our food had already become cold. How is anyone going to enjoy any cook to order menu food that has gone cold ? Besides that, we had requested our food to be extra spicy. Food temperature does not affect spiciness, but the waiter has also ignored our instructions. We can request extra spicy even when ordering from street food vendors or hawker food, and they will happily oblige. But not at this restaurant. So sad and disappointing Then, there's further development in the above rice incident. After bringing the rice over, the waitress brought the bowl of rice with varying portions. One bowl was full, another three quarters full, and yet another one was only half full. At this juncture, I was already extremely upset and disappointed, but to have this stacked upon us crossed the red line. I told the waitress the disproportionate quantity of rice, and she had the audacity to tick me off and show her utter disapproval with a long and sour face. Finally, I asked her if she went to the supermarket and purchased a bottle of water that was only 50% full, or 80% full instead of a 100% full bottle, would it then be fair to pay the full sticker price at the check out counter ? I wasn't asking for charity. I was just asking to be given fairly what I ordered. Even that seemed too much to ask. What an establishment. I will visit this restaurant one last time. Maybe it was just my bad luck to have encountered staff who was also having a bad day. That I don't know, but we'll see, and I will post an update. Hopefully, my bad experience was just a one time hiccup. ======================== Update : Visited restaurant again on 30 October'24. Service was better but quickly declined upon arrival of large tourist buses. I would rate it as 2.5 overall instead of 1. Food quality at 2.5 . Thanks, hope this helps you.
