The best kaya toast in the whole world. Made in-house, the kaya jam is superb as is the peanut butter. Eggs were fine, could be maybe a little more sloppy. Coffee is sweet, strong and enough to power you on for at least a day. So good. Don't come here for service with a smile, just enjoy the food. Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

Food was OK , service staff was professional but not warm . When I ask them to help me clean the table because it was full of breadcrumbs , they took a cloth and swept everything down to the floor . That’s when I realised the entire floor was quite dirty with food stains . Probably won’t go back again. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Order type: Dine in Meal type: Other Price per person: $1–10

A new bakery sprung up along Outram Road next to chicken rice shop. The shop is new but Jie Bakery is not. It originated from Tai Seng and this shop is the third outlet. It sells not only bread etc but also savoury items like nasi lemak etc. I ordered the kaya butter toast and love that it uses the Hainanese kaya. Very traditional. Will return for lunch another time to try their nasi lemak etc. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $1–10
