The highlight was the high piled meat rice bowl, served in their iconic sixteen centimeter Mt. Fuji style. The bowl was loaded with tender meat generously coated in Gyu Kaku’s signature sauce, sitting perfectly over warm rice. Every bite was rich, savory, and deeply satisfying. The portion alone was impressive, but what truly stood out was the quality of the meat and how well it was seasoned. I was genuinely amazed by how generous the servings were, without compromising on quality or taste. Gyu Kaku Jinan Bou delivered a satisfying, well balanced meal that felt indulgent yet thoughtfully prepared. Gyu-Kaku J at Citygate Outlets is decent for the price - the food is okay and reasonably portioned, so it’s good if you’re looking for something affordable. However, the stove fire is a bit too strong, which makes grilling harder to control, and the floor was quite sticky during my visit. Overall, it’s fine for a quick, cheap meal, but there’s definitely room for improvement in cleanliness and setup. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: HK$100–150 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
