とても美味しい日本人にも会う味。安いビーフンが自慢の店らしいが、焼飯と焼きそばも好みの味だった。 このビーフンは汁のあるビーフンでとても辛いホットソースをつけて食べるんだそうだ。私は辛いの苦手なので付けないで食べた。

Rating based on their beehoon soup and their deep fried bitter gourd with salted egg. Craving a clear soupy dish for weeknight dinner so ordered beehoon soup with pork slices and veggies, paired with a sinful crispy side dish. When beehoon soup was served I was initially skeptical thinking why is there so little soup in the bowl. Upon tasting the soup I was wowed. The umami from crushed tee por (dried sole fish) from the bits sprinkled on top was so good! It imparts a depth to the soup that so many other Cze cha stalls do not have. Perhaps Jing Hock also cook the beehoon soup using some stock (since their signature dish is white bee hoon which would require decent base stock to cook that dish). Pork slices were thin, well marinated and tender. No porky smell. Came with generous amount of tender young cai xin. Finished the soup till the last drop! The deep fried bitter gourd was well executed too, batter was crisp, seasoning just right (bordering on the slightly sweet side), but very enjoyable nonetheless. A solid hawker fare. The baby squid, chicken wing, mee goreng, hor fun, and dry white bihun are highly recommended. Top 2 are mee goreng and hor fun. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
