Revisited this restaurant recently and it really lost its shine. Gone are the days where it's dishes were prepared to high standards with fresh ingredients. I just compare a few dishes here. The HK style pork ribs was dry, tough and too sweet. Obviously the meat was not prepared freshly, probably fried beforehand and just heated with the sauce. Crispy chicken was the same problem. Celery with Macadamia nuts was pathetic, barely see the nuts. They charge a base of $1.5 for free flow water and wet tissues which to me is fine since they give free corkage. But to some without BYO might not like it. On a Sunday which used to be packed, recent visit shows they have lost the popularity. Staff are still friendly, but I don't think it's enough to make it a go to restaurant anymore. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: SGD 100+

1st time here : STARCH cuisine Sharksfin so starchy- just tasted 1 spoon and stopped Top shell with starch Steam fish with starch Veg with starch Prawn : no taste, the prawn gravy? is mayo, black pepper or what? No saltiness or sweetness.. tasteless Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 2

Haven't been back here for a long time. Gathered with some good friends for CNY gathering. Food was great. Very crowded, reservation recommended. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: SGD 100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
