Absolutely Outstanding! A Must-Try Korean BBQ Experience Jongno Gopchang is hands-down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Seoul. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm, lively, and filled with the unmistakable aroma of perfectly grilled gopchang. The staff is incredibly attentive—quick to help with grilling, offering recommendations, and making sure everything is just right. The gopchang (grilled beef intestines) itself is exceptional—crispy on the outside, tender inside, and full of rich, savory flavor. Every bite has that perfect balance of char and juiciness that keeps you coming back for more. The makchang and daechang were equally delicious, each with their own unique textures and taste profiles. The side dishes and sauces complement everything beautifully, especially the spicy dipping sauce and kimchi that cut through the richness perfectly. Pair it all with a cold beer or soju, and you’ve got the ultimate Korean BBQ experience. Whether you’re a local or visiting from abroad, Jongno Gopchang is a must-visit.
