Jovy’s Grill is a Filipino restaurant located on the second floor of a building. The place is clean and has a nice Filipino-inspired atmosphere. We ordered the sinigang and chicken BBQ. The sinigang was really good, with just the right amount of sourness. The vegetables were still fresh and not overcooked. The chicken BBQ was also tasty and well-marinated. Service was reasonably fast, too. They have a fairly limited menu, but most of the OG Filipino dishes are available. They also serve San Miguel and Red Horse beer. Prices are on the higher side, but I think the quality of the food and the overall experience make it worth it. They accept all cards, except GCash cards, which apparently don’t work with their terminal. Definitely one of my go-to places whenever I’m craving Filipino food in Seoul! There's not a lot of Filipino restaurants in Seoul and Jovy's Grill is surprisingly the best I have been to so far (went to Pyeongtaek and Jeonju). The ambience took me back to the Philippined with the wooden tables and tropical vibe. The menu items are both overwhelming and offers the highlights of Filipino cuisine - pancit (of course), sisig, sinigang, pork/chicken and seafood bbq, bicol express, crispy pata and karekare. They also have Filipino beers - San Miguel and Red Horse. And calamansi juice too! The amount of food in each serving was a lot too! We had the sisig and its authentic because it's made of pork jowl and ears. The pancit canton was amazing as well as the bicol express. Pair everything with the garlic rice as well. I have been telling my friends about this place and I cannot wait to bring my Korean friends over to try it! Our server is so sweet and the two ladies in the kitchen were very friendly.
