First of all, we did our research about the operating hours as it’s posted online, it’s crystal clear— closing at 1030PM. The moment we walked in at just around 8:40PM, it wasn’t very unpleasant, it felt cold and uncomfortable. I’m not sure if the server felt surprised for us just barging in, to be fair, if it was our fault for not having to wait to be seated. We never thought them closing that early to begin with so since the restaurant seemed empty with just 2 tables dining in, we entered anyway. Server tried, at the very least she smiled, very casual although never bothered to check on us like how was the food or is everything going great. The guy in the counter and the lady in the kitchen doesn’t look very happy. It escalated when the last table went. They turned off the music abruptly, guy started bringin’ out garbages somewhere along with his backpack, it almost felt like they want us to choke the food in and get out. Food was ok, it was the service that shocked me. It was shameful coz i brought in someone from Canada who loves Filipino food. I am not venting for nothing. We paid for our food, took the obvious hints and left. However, if serving us was going to be such a bother we would have preferred they simply tell us that the kitchen is closed, rather than providing such an awful experience in the hopes that we would become frustrated and leave. Immature and unprofessional service. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₩60,000–70,000

There's not a lot of Filipino restaurants in Seoul and Jovy's Grill is surprisingly the best I have been to so far (went to Pyeongtaek and Jeonju). The ambience took me back to the Philippined with the wooden tables and tropical vibe. The menu items are both overwhelming and offers the highlights of Filipino cuisine - pancit (of course), sisig, sinigang, pork/chicken and seafood bbq, bicol express, crispy pata and karekare. They also have Filipino beers - San Miguel and Red Horse. And calamansi juice too! The amount of food in each serving was a lot too! We had the sisig and its authentic because it's made of pork jowl and ears. The pancit canton was amazing as well as the bicol express. Pair everything with the garlic rice as well. I have been telling my friends about this place and I cannot wait to bring my Korean friends over to try it! Our server is so sweet and the two ladies in the kitchen were very friendly.
