美味しかったです。座席が少ないので持ち帰りが多いようです。次回は看板のイカチャーハンを食べたい。

オススメは鹽魚蛋炒飯。小さくカットされた魚の風味と程よい塩加減が絶妙。ご飯のパラパラ感もGOOD。叉燒炒飯も同様にご飯は問題ないですが、mainの叉燒が甘い味付けのため、いわゆる台南テイストに仕上がっているのは残念。総じて美味しいチャーハン屋さんと思います。

This was my very first visit, and though it's a pity they don't serve squid fried rice on Mondays, the eel fried rice recommended by the chef's wife was absolutely delicious! The owner let me know that squid is off the menu every Monday because the markets are closed and there is no fresh catch available, so if that's what you're craving, make sure to skip Mondays! I also ordered the stir fried veggies and a small soup. Everything was awesome. In fact, it was so good that I ordered another popular dish, the "National Banquet" fried rice, to go. I brought it home to share with my sister, who is currently sick and on a strict diet that definitely doesn't include fried rice. But she couldn't resist the amazing aroma! She sneaked a bite, ended up polishing off the whole box, and loved it. (Fingers crossed she feels okay tomorrow! ) The chef and his wife are super friendly, even when they're slammed. They give first time customers a warm welcome and guide you through the seating, which made me feel ease like at home. It gets a bit hot dining in since there's no air conditioning, especially during a scorching Tainan summer. The good news is that very soon, they'll be expanding into the neighboring stall and installing AC! Honestly, I'm already worried the lines will get even longer once that happens. Ha!
