First time trying Korean Michelin restaurant and I was not disappointed. Every dish was neatly crafted. Our main course was octopus and it’s the best octopus I ever had. Reservations required. The setting is u-shaped table so if you come as a pair, you will sit next to each other, not facing each other Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ฿2,000+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We recently visited Juksunchae, a one-Michelin-star Korean fine dining restaurant whose name means “finely chopped bamboo shoots.” The restaurant is located within the Marriott complex on Sukhumvit Soi 49. The parking can be quite limited and the drive up to the property was somewhat challenging, Upon arrival, a friendly staff walked us upstairs to the dining area, where we were seated at an intimate U-shaped chef’s table with only twelve seats in total. This allowed us to closely observe the culinary team preparing each dish right in front of us, creating a very engaging dining atmosphere. We were warmly welcomed by Zen, who provided friendly and attentive service while thoughtfully introducing the beverage menu. My husband chose the tasting course with a nine-glass wine pairing. Chef Henry Lee is clearly a talented and passionate chef. He presented each dish with professionalism and genuine enthusiasm, making the experience both educational and enjoyable. We appreciated the opportunity to explore Korean fine dining through a series of creative, beautifully crafted, and flavorful dishes. The wine pairing complemented the menu exceptionally well, thanks to Khun Nan, an enthusiastic and knowledgeable sommelier. We truly had a wonderful evening here. Over the course of four and a half hours, we enjoyed not only excellent food and wine, but also the opportunity to learn more about Korean cuisine through Chef Henry’s thoughtful presentation. It was a memorable experience from beginning to end, and we will definitely return again in the future. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Never thought I’d try Korean fine dining in Thailand, but what I can say is that it was an exceptional experience and do reach the restaurant with your tummies empty. It is the first fine dining place that makes me feel satisfied, with head chef himself bringing us on a journey about Korean cuisine. If I were to pick top 3 dishes of the current menu run, it would be the yulmu juk, the soondubu jigae as well as ori-jangjorim. The drinks were a highlight too! Credit to the whole team, the harmony was very good as the open kitchen helps the audience to see the whole meal as an experience. Price per person: ฿2,000+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
