小綺麗なイサーン料理屋。イサーン鍋のチムチュムが売りで鍋セットのお肉が中々のボリューム。野菜類は追加しても良いかも？焼き物やサラダ系の料理も美味しかったですね。スアローンハイはオススメ！ソムタムルアンパバーンはかなり辛かったので事前に辛さの調整をすると良いでしょう。チムチュムの鍋が素焼きの壺ではなく普通の鍋だったのと品切れのメニューが多かったのが残念ポイント。お手軽価格なんでまた利用してみたいお店です。. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Price per person: ฿400–600

This was our first ever Jim Jum / Thai clay-pot hotpot experience, and we had such a good time at Jum Mhor Din. The place has a really nice semi-open-air feel — there’s a proper roof overhead, but the sides are wide open rather than closed off by walls, so you get plenty of air and a relaxed outdoor ambience. There’s seating both downstairs and upstairs, and we sat downstairs. They also have a large private parking area outside, with enough space for cars to pull right up near the entrance for drop-off, which is really convenient. When we arrived it was actually very peaceful, but later in the evening a few groups came in and the place started filling up, so it definitely seems like it can get busy. The biggest highlight for us was our server, Vicky. He was outstanding from start to finish. We mentioned that it was our first time trying this style of hotpot and that we don’t eat pork, and he made everything so easy. He helped us choose suitable dishes, explained what everything was, answered our questions, and when the hotpot arrived he even asked if we wanted help setting it up and putting the ingredients in. He was kind, respectful, patient and genuinely helpful throughout the whole meal. Having someone like that really changes the whole experience. The food was also excellent. Everything came out quickly, hot and fresh. We ordered the beef hot pot with vegetable set, Luang Prabang-style papaya salad, fried chicken wings, glass noodles, rice, and deep-fried duck intestines. The chicken wings were hot and crispy, the hotpot was fresh, comforting and full of flavour, and the papaya salad was really good too. The Luang Prabang-style papaya salad was definitely spicy. I forgot to ask for medium spice this time, which is usually a better level for me, and I still managed it - but if you’re not used to Thai spice, I’d recommend asking for medium spicy when ordering. We also had two dipping sauces - a red seafood sauce and a green jim jum sauce and both worked really well with the food. What I liked most was that nothing felt confusing or rushed. The whole process was explained properly and the service was attentive without being overbearing. Compared with places where you’re left to figure everything out yourself, here we felt looked after from the beginning. Our total bill came to ฿1,020 for two people, which we thought was very reasonable considering the quality, portion sizes and service. Overall, this was easily a 5-star experience for us — food, service and atmosphere all 5/5. Great food, lovely setting, quick service and genuinely excellent hospitality. Vicky especially deserves a mention because he made the whole experience so much easier and more enjoyable. We’d happily come back.
