Ariエリアで気軽にタイ料理を楽しめる人気のお店。ローカル感がありつつ店内は清潔で入りやすく、初めてでも利用しやすい雰囲気。定番のタイ料理を中心に、ボリュームもそこそこあって価格もAriエリアの中では比較的良心的。ランチタイムは周辺で働く人たちや地元の人で賑わうことが多いけど、回転は早めなのでそこまで待たずに入れることが多いと思う。気軽にローカルタイ料理を楽しみたいときにちょうどいいお店だよ。今度行ってみるなら、ランチか少し早めの夕食の時間帯がおすすめ。. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Great spot for northeastern Thai food. The grilled pork came out perfectly crispy on the edges with crunchy fried garlic on top, and the beef was cooked exactly how it should be — tender with a nice charred edge. Loved the fresh herbs and greens they served alongside everything, made it feel really fresh and balanced against the richer dishes. The papaya-style salad had great texture and just the right kick of spice, and the fried rice at the end hit the spot too. Sticky rice came wrapped up neatly and was soft and warm, exactly what you want with all the grilled stuff. Portions were generous and the food felt properly authentic. Jumkhao Ari was the standout restaurant of our entire Bangkok trip. It completely expanded our palate and introduced us to the incredible flavors of Isan cuisine. I genuinely can’t emphasize enough how much of a hidden gem this place is. We noticed right away that the restaurant is frequented almost entirely by locals, and the menu is written in Thai. This didn’t stop us at all-we simply translated through our phones. We were also fortunate to meet Rain, the owner, who was extremely warm, welcoming, and willing to help translate and guide us through the dishes. The food itself was an experience. Rain taught us the proper way to enjoy the sticky rice and how to pair the vegetables with their dipping sauces. Every bite was a flavor bomb and truly unique. We ordered the steak, and as someone who’s quite picky with meat, I was blown away by how tender it was. My girlfriend especially loved the mushroom curry; although it was a bit too spicy for us, that was on us for not asking to tone it down. We also tried the pickled crab salad, which paired beautifully with the sticky rice. We enjoyed the food and hospitality so much that we returned a second time and brought our fellow traveler friends with us. Now that we’ve discovered this treasure, Jumkhao Ari will be a must-visit for us every time we return to Bangkok. Highly recommended.
