My new favourite coffee shop. Nestled in the wooded hills above Ranong Jungle Janes is a modern window on to an ancient natural world. The floor to ceiling windows let you watch the mornings mists easing through the hills, while birds soar overhead to the sounds of the waterfall. Clear mountain river that's passes calms your stresses and washes away the strains. Evening sees the jungle calls of mysterious visitors flit overhead and the star gaze platform opens up the full untarnished sparkling glories of the night skies. Coffee is rich fresh and beautifully scented and the cakes somehow creamy and light while incredibly fresh and light on the tongue. It's a coffee drinkers paradise at the edge of a great forest in a magical natural world Note currently under Covid restrictions visiting is by invitation only.

January 2018 - Jungle Jane's is currently under construction. A soft opening is planned for mid-2018. It's an exciting time for us, and status will be posted as things progress.June 16, 2018 - Our blessing ceremony was held today, and we've started the process of moving in and setting up. Hope to have family and close friends down for a soft opening later in the year.November 4, 2018 - New rainwater system installation has been completed to back up the primary filtered stream water system. There are some remaining concrete efflorescence issues that need to be resolved to ensure proper structural protection against area rains, along with related cosmetic cleanup thereafter. However, the good news is that initial tests of the oven and kitchen units seems quite acceptable, resulting in some very tasty trial muffins and meals that passed internal taste tests with flying colors.April 2019 - Nuch had unexpected guests over Songkran when some travelers dropped by a bit after sunrise. Apparently a family saw our pin in Google maps and dropped by hoping to find a functional coffee shop. They said they'd given up on our unlikely access road, and were actually looking for a place to turn around when they pulled up in front of the hut.Though we're still not officially a functional business, it was Songkran so Nuch set them up with coffee, some brownies and pie freshly baked the night before. Unfortunately, she didn't record their names, however she did manage to get a nice group photo of the first travelers to stop by. Lesson learned: we need a guest book.
