We walked past and double backed to give these mochi a try. Many flavours to chose from. We had 3 - durian, Thai ice tea and lychee. They served them cut up on a cup which was great so we could easily share them. Durian had a solid strong durian flavour which durian lovers would love but our favourite was the thai ice tea. Great snack to keep our energy up while exploring the area

I came across Kane Mochi at Bugis+ while searching for ice cream in the area. It’s a small counter with no seating, just takeaway options. Prices are on the higher side, $3 for classic mochi and $3.30 for premium, which felt a bit expensive to me. I decided to try something simple and safe, two chocolate mochis. They were served cut into quarters in a cup, which made it easy to eat. The mochi skin had the expected chewy texture and the ice cream inside was kept firm since it’s stored frozen. However, the ice cream itself tasted pretty ordinary, nothing that really stood out. Overall, it was decent but for the price point I would have expected a bit more in terms of size, taste or uniqueness. Good if you’re craving mochi ice cream on the go but not something I’d go out of my way for.
