Review of KFC (VivoCity) Many foreigners have commented that KFC’s Original Recipe is among the worst, and after recently trying KFC in Malaysia and China, I can now confidently agree that this is the worst fried chicken I’ve had. I specifically came to try the Oiishi Chicken Zinger Burger, but it was disappointing. The tenkasu added little to no texture or flavour, and the takoyaki sauce simply didn’t work well with the overall taste. The chicken patty was over-fried, dry, and lacked juiciness. Even the single piece of chicken served was small and overcooked. There’s a common saying that if you’re Chinese, the staff packing your food will give you the smallest piece of chicken. Based on this experience, I strongly agree with that sentiment. Overall, this visit reinforced my belief that KFC’s standards are inconsistent, and this outlet did not deliver on either quality or value.
