Very nice selection of specialty coffee brewed with utmost care and served in a relaxing space with good background music. The staff was super nice and told us about a coffee expo that was happening close by as well, thank you again! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Dine in Meal type: Other

Named after the sunny Hawaiin beachside town on Maui Island’s southwest shore, Kihei Coffee’s bright interior and sunset concept offers a striking contrast to the commercial suburb of Gangnam’s Samseong-dong. Kihei is one of three cafes in Seoul currently using coffee beans roasted by Brooklyn based micro-roaster SEY. At the time of visiting they had three types of coffee beans including Honduras Lote Sofia Mario Moreno, Ecuador Lugamapala Mejorado and Honduras Peduras Amarillas Mario Moreno 100% Pacas. Aside from V60 filter coffee Kihei is a popular spot for Lattes and Flat Whites; the key here is their larger than normal espresso extraction grind (up to 38 grams) combined with the strong flavour profiles of SEY’s single origin roasts. The sunset orange concept is visible throughout the entire cafe. From the door handles, branded signage and and distinctive takeaway coffee cups, seen here above the La Marzocco Linea Classica.
