Been coming here for awhile and just returned to HK and had to stop by. Love the food, and the staff are really nice. Never disappointed with any of my dishes, give it a try!!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $100–150

I've been to this Kin Kao (Landale Street, Wan Chai) several times but am compelled to write a warning to all diners here. While the food is good (which is why I've been multiple times), the cashier/waitress exhibited some extremely shady behavior this last time. When I went to pay at the cashier, I noticed the cashier/waitress turned the bill facedown, and she proceeded to enter a number into the credit card machine (I was holding my credit card ready to scan). She entered a number that was HIGHER than what the bill actually was. I was surprised because I saw the bill before she had turned it over, so I said "what?" She mumbled "oh" and then deleted the higher number and entered the number which was actually on the bill - she knew the exact number - she didn't skip a bit. At the time, I didn't make a fuss as my friend and I needed to get going. But my friend asked me as we left "was something wrong? why did she [the cashier] turn the bill over [upside down]." The cashier's behavior makes me think they cheat customers all the time by adding more to the bill (and hoping you don't look at the bill before paying). Diners BEWARE. Please check your bill before you tap your card. Some really shady behavior here. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
