This café has honestly become one of the best we tried recently, because it fits most of what we want: good food and coffee, lots of choices, quiet and a bit moody, decaf option, and the price feels reasonable. After all the Christmas and New Year “eat too much” days, we wanted something lighter but still yummy. We looked through the menu and found there are so many brunch items, really hard to choose. In the end we picked the slow-cooked chicken breast + avocado on sourdough toast with a vegetable salad. The salad greens were super fresh, the chicken was tender and not dry, and the avocado was perfectly ripe. Most important is the portion is enough, not the “too small” kind. We also ordered the Cheese Burger with Fries. The fries were really good (crispy and easy to finish without noticing), and the burger patty tasted fresh and juicy, so overall very satisfying. For coffee, we had Decaf DR Flat White (無咖啡因澳白) and it was surprisingly rich and smooth, not boring even though it’s decaf. One more thing we like: the café has 4 laptop-friendly tables in a quiet corner, and each table has power supply, so it’s super suitable if you want to stay longer and do a bit of work with your coffee/food. Also there are open-air tables outside the café, so you can sit outdoor if the weather is nice. If you want a chill place to eat, drink, and maybe work for a while, this one is really worth trying. Coffee is good. Crowded during weekend visit. The spaghetti taste average and a bit overpriced. The cake is average. The interior design is good. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $100–150 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5

This is a neat coffee shop and cafe on the G/F of The Mills in Tsuen Wan. They have a fairly typical coffee shop food menu and offer a nice range of coffee and non-coffee drinks. Environs are casual and make good use of extensive space, plenty of seating compared to your usual coffee shop in HK. I recently had an espresso tonic and scone, served in a timely manner. Coffee was nicely prepared and tasted just fine. The scone was warm and tasted great. Overall, a good stop at Koko Coffee Roasters, I look forward to stopping by again the next time I'm at The Mills.
