日本ではこれまで、渋谷・六本木・銀座と、数えきれないほどクラブやバーを巡ってきました。 ですが、このスタイルのお店には、正直まだ出会ったことがありません。 入店時のIDチェックを終えると、スタッフが丁寧にエレベーターへエスコート。 扉が開いた瞬間、空気が一変します。 洗練されたサインを抜けると大型スクリーンが現れ、一瞬クラブかと思いきや、 右へ進むと天井の高い開放的な空間が広がり、心地よいヒップホップが流れる。 その先にあるのは、圧倒的な存在感を放つ豪華なバーカウンター。 この瞬間で「ここは特別だ」と確信しました。 スタッフのホスピタリティは非常に高く、サービスの所作も美しい。 カクテルは驚きの連続で、タピオカミルクティーをフィーチャーした一杯や、 旨味を巧みに取り入れたホットカクテルなど、どれも本格的で完成度が高い。 ただ飲むのではなく、“体験するカクテル”という印象です。 店内は隅々まで清掃が行き届き、トイレも非常に清潔。 支払いは現金・カードどちらも対応。 テーブル席はミニマムチャージがあり予約制、 金・土はスタンディング中心で多くの人が集まり、 平日はバーカウンターでゆったり楽しめるなど、曜日ごとに表情が変わるのも魅力です。 台湾のローカルな夜から、ワールドクラスの空間へ一瞬でワープしたような感覚。 音楽のセンス、音響のクオリティも高く、 フードはシンプルなフィンガーフードながら味はしっかり。 そして何より、スタイリッシュで魅力的なスタッフとバーテンダーが空間を盛り上げてくれる。 自然と気分が高まり、心地よく酔える場所でした。 クラブでもない、普通のバーでもない。 ここはまさにsuper lounge とても気持ちの良い、記憶に残るお店です。 ※あえて写真は載せません。 この空気感は、ぜひ現地で体験してほしい。 簡単な動画を載せてるのでよければインスタ見てください. This was a funny experience. My friend and I were actually trying to get into OMNI nightclub, and ended up in the line for KOR accidentally. I was dressed up in a cute miniskirt I wear for work paired with a classy black top and hot suede ankle boots. My friend was wearing a nice button shirt, long pants, and classy shoes. Hostess asked us if we were there for KOR, but we mistook that as an area of the dance floor at OMNI, so we said yes. She pointed at a sign pointing out casual attire is not allowed and told us that there's a dress code in effect. We said ok, left scratching our heads, to look for another nearby bar, and found KOR Taipei on Google Maps and realized we just got rejected from it lol. We got into OMNI, our originally intended club and had a blast. However, when we left, we passed the line of people entering KOR, and people were dressed in t shirts and running shoes. Either 1) There was a specific event that timed out and then it was open season 2) You need tickets which kills the dress code requirement 3) Not enough business so again, open season. We were dressed classy by North American big city standards (ie. upscale speakeasies/lounges), foreigners (can pass as Taiwanese if we didn't open our mouths too long), and definitely attractive. So, we expected that maybe it was a different, more exclusive standard (ie outrageous influencer types). However, it was clear by the late night clientele that none of these were a real issue as a very mixed bag of people were able to walk in: casual, some foreigners, no consistent physical standard. I would just say: do your research and make sure you have backup options. Hostess opinion is subjective, don't take rejection to heart. Have a blast with the nightlife elsewhere!
