My second time eating here. Honestly, the standard differed a lot. Previously, I felt the dishes were mediocre. However, today was pretty awesome which caught me by surprise. Salmon Mentaiko Pasta was mindblowing. Meal type: Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Ordered the spicy grilled chicken thigh that came with 2 sides option and it was $2.50 for the side I topped up. The dish was very decent and considered value for money since it’s within $16 for this plate. The chicken thigh was succulent and tender, mashed potato very well prepared. Service was relatively quick and overall a pleasant experience to have. Will definitely visit again. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

The food here was actually pretty impressive, I didn't expect it to taste so good. We ordered the: • Kurobuta Pork Chop: This was huge, so it was well worth the price. It was slightly tough, which was expected for such a huge slab of meat, and could afford to be more flavourful, perhaps some extra marination time would be good. Luckily, the mushroom sauce atop it helped add flavour and the roasted brussels sprouts were also a nice touch. • Duck Confit: This definitely ranks in my top three duck confit in Singapore. It was so delicious, the skin was crisp and the meat was tender and flavourful, without being overly salty. The red wine sauce was quite tasty and went well with the meat. A definite must order here! • Grilled Octopus with Paprika Aioli & Chorizo: Good flavours, I really enjoyed the paprika aioli and the chorizo. However, the portion size was a bit small, and the octopus was slightly overcooked, making it harder and drier than I would have liked. We came on a weekend slightly past noon, and had no issue finding a seat. There were also quite a lot of tables available. Water is free of charge, which I appreciated. There is GST, but no service charge. Overall, Kaeden is great place to go to for delicious food in a casual and comfortable setting. I'll be back for sure if I'm in the area!
