I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the experience I had at your ION Orchard outlet today. I ordered the roast pork and char siew set and requested to add a side of oil chicken. To my surprise, the food was served with only four extremely thin slices of roast pork and char siew—an unacceptably small portion for a set meal. What made the situation more frustrating was that other similar roast pork and char siew sets, without the additional chicken, were visibly plated with far more generous and substantial portions. These were waiting for collection at the counter and clearly showed a stark difference in serving size compared to what I received. When I raised this concern with a staff member, he brusquely responded that “the boss instructed more chicken and less roast meat be given when chicken is added”—and that this had “always been the practice.” I find this policy highly misleading and unfair. Adding a side of chicken should not diminish the original portion of roast pork and char siew, which I specifically ordered as the main set. It appears Kam’s Roast is effectively reducing the quantity of core items when extras are added—an approach that shortchanges customers and compromises the integrity of your menu. This practice feels like a cost-cutting measure at the customer’s expense and comes across as an attempt to maximise margins rather than deliver value and quality. Also, despite requesting for the chili to be refilled at the counter multiple times, the Malaysian staff simply ignored my request. He clearly is not interested in his job and doesn’t give 2 figs about service

Dexperience Review: Kam's Roast Pacific Plaza
We love the delicious Hong Kong style roast, especially the lean sausages which has a very unique wine taste. The service staff here are very friendly and welcoming. We will like to give special compliments with gratitude to Ah Bao, her outgoing personality and her pampering care keeps us coming back for more. We definitely recommend more people to come and experience this gastronomic adventure!
