Nothing fancy in term of food and menu but not in a bad way rather very simple home cooked taste and dishes. Yellow seafood curry is very spicy (could be me as I have reduce my spicy food over the last 2 years) and very fresh prawns. Very friendly staff but limited English maybe it’s because it’s more neighborhood restaurant. Newbies may have difficulty to finding the restaurant as it share the premise with a cafe. The cafe is situated at the front of the premise and Kaobahn is at the rear of the premise but both work together and help out.

Dining at Kaobahn is like going to your best friend's house for a delicious home cooked meal by the mum. It is just comfort food at its best! The favours are exactly like what I grew up eating in my own home and I cannot get enough of it as my family do not cook as much these days!! The menu has its staple items and also different daily dishes according to what Mum gets at the fresh market. You can taste the love and care in the dishes and there is no MSG added. I wish I stay next to Kaobahn so I can eat there everyday :p
