八坂の塔から坂を登ったところにあるカフェ、屋外に植物が飾ってあるベンチがあり、ほっとする空間になっているカフェ、周りの外壁や建物が京風のアクセントになっていて、心地よい感じがあります。 小さい調理場だけなのでメニューは少ないですが、しっかりと美味しい珈琲がいただけますよ。 これから暑い日が多くなるので日陰があるベンチは最高の避暑地点になるかも 少し店員さんと会話しましたが、とても話しやすくいい感じでした。 気軽に休憩かねて立ち寄って欲しいカフェでした。. Yeah, sakura season turns Japan into a floral fever dream—and everyone shows up for the party. But if you need to come up for air, there’s this concrete oasis tucked just far enough away from the chaos to let you breathe. Kefu Stand. Blink and you’ll miss it—shaded benches, unshaded benches for those delightful Japanese afternoons with just a few clouds, a few cold cans of local beer, espresso that doesn’t suck, and just enough charm to make you wonder why more places back home can’t get it this right. It’s the kind of spot that doesn’t try too hard, and thank god for that. The staff? Chill, speak a bit of English. The menu? Also in English, which is a rare mercy when your brain fried from travel and caffeine withdrawal. Buy a drink, and you get access to a restroom that’s cleaner and better stocked than most hotels in America—because, Japan. I went for a straight espresso and a beer, my wife got a latte and beer. No complaints. Sit, sip, take in the breeze. Let the sakura crowds do their thing while you catch your breath. And when you're ready to move again, there’s a trail up the mountain calling your name—more to see, more to feel. But for now, this? This is the pause that makes the journey worth it.
