Fantastic whisky bar which suits my profile. I come from Singapore where most whisky bars only offer IB bottles which aren’t great for beginners like me, but Caven is a perfect place for me as it carries a wide range of OB bottles which allow me to try various whiskies. Despite having to use ChatGPT for translation, the friendly and warm bartenders as well as quiet ambience makes it a place I would definitely return to if I’m back in Gwangju again. I told the bartender I wanted to try a Lowland, Campbeltown, and Korean Single Malt, and he promptly recommended me with Auchentoshan Three Wood, Springbank 10, and Ki Won Cask Strength Korean Bar Edition. They are also more than happy to share other bottles of whiskies that they have and share their knowledge with me. Totally my place and I wish I will be back in Gwangju again! Price per person: ₩70,000–80,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
