Came here as this is one of the places in the wai without a queue on a sunday night. Rather quiet with an open kitchen. Price is on the higher side ($120 for ramen with big pork). I ordered medium chili and less sansho, and the broth was wonderful. Smart move to add sansho as the slight numbness toned down (but strangely complemented) the miso, which made me prefer kikanbo's broth to some miso ramen houses I've tried on my last trip to Hokkaido. Pork's also very well seasoned, tastes bit like hakka people's ham choi kon. Sadly the noodles were overcooked and rather soft, ginger and garlic also chopped not finely enough (there are some bigger chunks that are... not so pleasant). Hope the cooks can evaluate on these points. Service pretty good, staff young and full of life. Was hoping for some small talks like typical open-kitchen japanese eateries but ig that's not quite enjoyed by hkers. Everything is fine, shops quiet, very decent staff and services. BUT food is horrible, suggest to learn making ramen first. Meal type: Lunch Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
