Dropped by for lunch on a Saturday and managed to get a table for two without much waiting. We had the Mee Siam and Laksa, both upgraded to a set for an additional $1.50, which included a hot drink and a side snack. The menu illustration shows fried fritters, but you can actually choose from a selection of side items. As my sister had warned me, the Mee Siam was quite spicy, and it definitely lived up to that reputation. The Laksa had a thick, rich gravy that was flavourful without being overly heavy. It also came with two ngoh hiang rolls, which were a nice addition. For our sides, the fried fritters were enjoyable. They weren’t particularly outstanding, but they stayed crispy and weren’t soggy. The popiah was decent, though it’s probably not something I would order again on a future visit. We both had Yuan Yang Siew Dai, which was well balanced and just right for our taste. The kopi, however, wasn’t quite as robust as I would have liked. A special mention to the staff member who took my order. Initially, I only wanted one side item, so I ordered a main with the side add-on. However, since the drink I wanted was a Yuan Yang Siew Dai, which would have cost $2.40 on its own, she pointed out that it would be more economical to get the set for $1.50, which included both the drink and a side. I appreciated her honesty and thoughtfulness in helping me save a little while getting more value from my meal. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $1–10 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

I only love the coffee here.. Chicken wing was so dry and hard to bite . The beehoon taste so horrible its like just marinated with black sauce only Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $1–10 Food: 1
