I would like to feedback unpleasant experience I had today at one of the eateries near my residence. After work, I went to purchase two pau – one small chicken pau and one red bean (tausa/kacang) pau. There was a misunderstanding as the counter staff assumed I wanted three paus, including an additional chicken pau which I did not order. I repeatedly tried to explain that I only wanted two items. However, during this exchange, the staff removed one pau from my plastic bag and placed it directly on the cash counter without any cover or plate. When I clarified again that I did not want the chicken pau and requested the red bean pau instead, she took the same pau that had been left uncovered on the counter and attempted to serve it back to me. I expressed that I was uncomfortable accepting it as it had been placed on the countertop and requested a fresh one. Unfortunately, my request was dismissed, and the same pau was handed back to me. Additionally, the staff member spoke loudly and appeared visibly upset during the interaction, which made the situation uncomfortable. I understand that misunderstandings can happen, especially due to language barriers, but food hygiene and basic customer service standards should still be maintained regardless of the purchase amount. I hope management can look into this matter and ensure better communication and hygiene practices in the future. Meal type: Other Price per person: $1–10 Service: 1

Night shift aunty is rude. I came here and ordered politely, but always receiving answers with yells. Another day I was double checking the amount I ordered with the aunty, but blamed by her that why I didn’t hear the amount clearly (and kept blaming me around 3 mins until I finished the paynow process). Could the manager consider to change another staff with basic politeness or respect to consumers? Service: 1

The morning staff member was rude. When I asked for chili sauce, they took the bottle and slammed it onto the service counter. Guess they dun require business. Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $1–10 Service: 1
