On some lists as top places to get Hong Kong Egg tart. With a shortcrust pastry shell, the lightly sweet HK egg tarts are ok - the custard is usually lighter and not as dense. The Macau egg tarts were a not good, not enough caramelization on top. It was the first time I had the Hokkaido Milk tarts and I wouldn’t get them again. These were purchased for me so I had to guess what I was eating. Oct 2024. Meal type: Other Price per person: $1–50 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Their egg tarts were good! Fresh, hot, not too sweet, crispy base. The level you'd expect for an average egg tart stand in Hong Kong. Not astounding in flavour, and I'm sure there are places with better-tasting egg tarts than this, but this meets expectations. Their display was well-labelled, and made it easy for customers to decide on their order before approaching the counter. This is quite important in HK because most staff seem to have zero patience for clarifying menu items for customers, or for helping a customer having trouble deciding what to order. They had some other interesting snacks and merch as well. Meal type: Other Price per person: $1–50 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4
