This place is a real blessing for someone in Chiayi that appreciates eating different foods from different cultures. I was actually quite surprised when I found out that there was such an authentic Indian restaurant in the city. As such, I have ordered from it almost every week, even though I only stay in town on the weekends. The quality and taste is excellent. Compared to other Indian restaurants, I would say that the spice level is accurate. I've eaten that other Indian restaurants and ask for medium spice and found that it was really bland in fact. This is not the case with King's Flavor, as they offer just the right amount of spice according to your request. I have not yet ordered the spiciest option (大辣）but I might be brave enough to try one day. I know that some of my Indian friends may consider that even the spiciest option here is not the "Indian level" of spice, but to me it is just the right amount. Overall, I can highly recommend any of the curries. I've tried a few of them and have been extremely satisfied every time. I also almost always order samosas, and find them and their accompanying sauce to be extremely delicious. There are many other options including salads, so there's definitely something for everyone. Even my vegetarian friends are able to order from this restaurant. I can make an important recommendation for anyone ordering the curries that are saucy. You should definitely order at least three servings of naan in order to ensure that you have enough to accompany the meat in the dish as well as to soak up all of the extra delicious sauce. The first time I ordered I only ordered two portions, which was not enough. I ordered for the next time, but that seemed to be a bit too many. Three seems to be the magic number.
