On our recent HK trip, had lunch at Kiu’s Kitchen with friends, about 4 of us. It’s a cozy restaurant, feels intimate yet homely like friends of friends spot. Our local friend made the reservation and pre-ordered a special dish, crab over churn fun! That was quite a dish. We had razor clams (10/10 - Asia just does seafood so well!); shrimp toast (8/10 wish the breading was less chewy); stir fry filet fish w/ veggies (9/10 this was delish!); crab churn fun claypot (9/10 so good but wish it was easier to eat, the crab wasn’t cracked all the way); sautéed Chinese kale (7/10 nothing extraordinary), sweet & sour pork (10/10 Asia does this dish 100% better than at home sigh). Overall, a very savory and satisfying meal, would recommend to friends and fam visiting HK! Cheers. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $300–350 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

“Popular restaurant with lots of net exposure a little overrated” I wanted to like this place having been to the previous Club Batard. Perhaps the Cantonese restaurant scene is too competitive in HK these days. Sound management needs to be improved as it is really quite noisy. Management seems to care but the staff and kitchen are quite behind. They often stand and move far too close to the guests. The famous crab 腸粉煲 was 30 minutes behind the last dish was served. Will I want to return? No. Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: HK$500+
