Tried the crispy 콰삭 chimney bread with custard and fresh cream on side. The bread was delicious and not too sweet - perfect to our liking. They bake it fresh on order so takes around 10 minutes to be ready. On a Friday afternoon there was no queue. The shop is quite small inside, hence limited number of seatings. Wish we can try different flavours next time, especially the almond and cinnamon.

‘Knedlo’ is a compound word of ‘Knedliky’ and ‘Trdlo’. Trdelník is a kind of spit cake and variant of Küctőskalács. It is a traditional old Bohemian sweet pastry made of yeast dough. Strips of dough are rolled onto a cylinder (called trdlo) and baked and topped with sugar and walnut mix. Trdelník is a pastry that I can't eat very often, so I made a special time to visit the store at the opening time. After ordering from Kiosk, I got the table and waited for the Trdelník I ordered to come out. However, suddenly water fell on my head, so my head and the bag next to me got wet. Water leaked from the A/C placed at the top of the wall. I'm not sure if he was the owner or the employee, but I told him that the A/C is leaking, but he just told me to sit in another seat and he didn't apologize. Shouldn't he apologize first when something like this happens? The taste of Trdelník was great and good, but I felt bad because of the rude attitude of the staff. I don't think I will visit again.
