Ko Seng in Koh Samui was hands down the best seafood meal of our entire trip to Thailand and we are foodies. Every single dish was incredible. The seafood tasted unbelievably fresh, the flavors were bold and authentic, and everything came out perfectly cooked. The stir-fried basil seafood, morning glory, shrimp, and fried prawns were all standout dishes. What made the experience even better was the service. The entire staff was made up of women, and they were some of the kindest, warmest, and most welcoming people we’ve met on this trip. You can genuinely feel the care they put into both the food and the experience. The atmosphere is simple and unpretentious, which honestly makes it even more special because the food completely speaks for itself. There’s a reason this place has Michelin recognition. It feels like one of those rare spots that locals know, travelers dream of finding, and you think about long after the trip is over. As well as the a-la-carte menu, which is excellent, they also have a 'one plate quick meal' menu which is ideal for a quick lunch and very cheap. This place has my absolute favourite chicken and cashew dish on Samui, and as a resident I have tried a lot. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ฿1–200 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
