サイアムスクエアにあるとんかつ屋です。平日の開店前に到着しましたが、すでに10名ほど並んでいました。すごい人気ですね。場所柄、客層は若いタイ人の方がほとんどでした。 揚げ物は、サクッと揚げてあって美味しかったです。 問題はご飯。ご飯は釜に入っているようだったので熱々の炊き立てを期待しましたが、なぜか他で炊いたものを釜に移しただけ。やや冷めてるし、これだったら茶碗のほうが食べやすくていいですね。 ロースかつと大えびの盛り合わせを頼みましたが、580バーツ（税サービス別）なので、結構なお値段になります。

Was craving tonkatsu and stumbled across Koguro. Loved the Japanese vibe playlist! For food, we had the lunch special - pork and ebi tempura. The egg was super fluffy and the portion was decent. They even gave us a welcome slushie, which was refreshing, and edamame while we waited for our food. Will definitely be back! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The food itself was great. I LOVE the pear sauce so much, it much sweeter than any other restaurant’s, so, if you don’t like the traditional sour sauce you’d love it as well! The Tonkatsu was crispy outside and juicy inside, it was so nice. The salad is average. The rice is a bit soaked, but it’s better after letting the lid open for a good while. What really upset me is how bad the AC was. It was SO HOT, no fan, no wind. Idk if it’s because of where I seated or it’s just hot like this everywhere. I read the comments about people with the same experience last year but I expected them to have already fixed it. Well, apparently they have not. Anyway, it was quite a bad experience for me. Even the food is nice, I probably won’t go back again but if you don’t mind the weather you’ll be happier than me. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ฿200–400 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2
