An absolute hidden gem in Yulyang-dong! If you're a serious coffee and dessert lover, Colony is a must-visit. I dropped by with some expectations, but this place completely blew me away. First off, the Cafe Latte was incredibly smooth perfectly balanced espresso with velvety microfoam and gorgeous latte art. You can tell they take their craft seriously, especially since they source their beans from Manufact Coffee. If you prefer something richer and more indulgent, get the Donut Cream. It’s a cream flat white with a macadamia twist that adds a rich, nutty depth without being cloyingly sweet. But the absolute star of the show? The Matcha Tiramisu. It’s hands down the best I’ve had in Cheongju. The ratio of mascarpone cream to the espresso-soaked sponge is spot-on. It literally melts in your mouth, and the punchy bitterness of the high-quality matcha powder cuts through the richness beautifully. The interior is super hip, cozy, and moody perfect for losing track of time. Plus, the owner has such a distinct and cool vibe tip: Parking in this neighborhood can be a nightmare, but if you give the shop a quick call, they’ll open up the parking lot right next to the building for you!
