I had a very disappointing experience at Kamala Vilas. When I first sat down, the table and chairs were visibly dirty, with leftover food from the previous customer still there. I had to clean the table myself, which is unacceptable. It felt like either there was a lack of manpower, or the staff simply couldn’t be bothered. Ordering was also frustrating. I had to go back and forth between the table and the cashier just to figure out the menu and place my order. When I finally tried to order, the staff member was unwelcoming and spoke in a stern, dismissive manner. There was no basic customer service. The overall atmosphere in the restaurant was unpleasant. The staff looked disengaged, and even other customers seemed uncomfortable and unhappy. In the end, I decided not to dine there and brought my family elsewhere. We went to Mr Uncle instead, which was a much better experience. I hope the management takes steps to improve hygiene and service standards. As it stands, I would not recommend this place. Price per person: $100+ Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Food taste and quality was not upto the standards, not even equals to a normal shop taste. I ordered South Indian meals and was charged $13 which is very high to the meals taste and quality provided. Resembling indian foods please maintain atleast 50% of needed taste, peoples paying such huge cost not to have food in such taste. Service and atmosphere was good, it helps peoples to come inside buy when we are looking for good standard food but at the end are we getting it? At the end, the meals provided is not worth for even $5 and to manage the taste i requested additional payasam. Please look into as being such a authentic restaurant in Singapore. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
