Food is okay, but the service from the chef and only the chef is horrible, demanding and scolding customers, no wonder there is no queue towards this stall. Highly recommend if you don’t want to wait. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Ordered katsudon and salmon set. Recommend the katsudon with it's very balance taste of the egg and chicken. Salmon set is average. Some items like oyako don, teriyaki chicken don are not available anymore. Doesn't accept CDC. Each item is charged additional 0.20 cent for takeaway. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

“Restaurant standard Hawker price” is what you will find on their signboard instead of Konomi Zen which is not reflected. Past them by so many times but never bothered to try so today finally ordered their Teriyaki chicken set. It’s lunch time there’s not much of a Q, but the customer flow is quite consistent. The boss/Chef has an aura about him, feels like he was the head chef of some high end Japanese Omakase restaurant. Back to their teriyaki chicken set. At $4.50 it is quite a steal if u compare it with Sakae Shushi. I believe they use calrose rice (short grain type), it was a bit dry. The chicken itself was oki, but becomes an impact when u eat it with their panko Came with a fried sweet potato which was fantastic. Overall it’s an oki but affordable Japanese lunch.
