First top marks to the Chinese young man manning the cashier. 12 May 2026 8 pm. He was all smiles and friendly. There were flies circling around the chopsticks and spoons collection area. The noodles were a bit overcooked and came across as soft. The noodles no long tasted as nice as before. I am someone that ate once in a blue moon and could detect the changes in Koo Kee. This was my first time to this outlet. I believed it could be the result of the reduced use of their oil based sauces. Next the vegetables came without red chilli. They claimed it was finished. My friend encountered the same at the woodlands branch in the early afternoon. I believed they deliberately cut cost. It was years since they offered red chilli. Once there was a branch that offered and I praised them and he said that the order came from the top. I guessed by default, they continued not to offer it. I think Koo Kee needs to change their pictures for fake advertising. At the price point of 8.80 sgd, this food was expensive and couldn't fill you up. I was only fifty percent full. However their system was getting more advanced now with a membership programme. But I always fear such programmes as they would take money from customers and then set up a difficult route to seek refunds. Dear Management, I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the repeated mistakes and poor service from your Eastpoint Mall outlet. On 22 May 2026 at 20:17:25, my husband purchased two takeaway orders of Mee Tai Mak soup and Koo Kee noodles soup (Receipt reference: SHP/EPM). Before leaving, my husband confirmed the order again with your staff and was assured that the order was correct. However, when we reached home, we were shocked to discover that the Mee Tai Mak had again been replaced with bee hoon instead. This is not the first occurrence. In fact, this is already the fourth time that whenever my husband orders Mee Tai Mak takeaway from your Eastpoint outlet, we receive a different type of noodle instead. As regular customers who frequently dine at Koo Kee Yong Tow Foo for dinner, we find this totally unacceptable. It gives us the impression that the cook is either careless or deliberately substituting the noodles without informing customers honestly. If Mee Tai Mak is unavailable, customers should be informed directly instead of being given something else without consent. To make matters worse, the ingredients were also noticeably shortchanged. The bowl contained only: 1 piece fish ball 2 pieces tofu with fish paste 1 piece fried tau pok 1 piece fried seasonal meat item This was extremely disappointing and did not reflect the standard or value we expected. We felt cheated and were left with no choice but to eat what was given to us after reaching home. Such repeated incidents have seriously affected our trust and confidence in your outlet. I would like to request: A proper explanation for these repeated wrong orders. A sincere apology from the outlet management. Appropriate compensation or service recovery for the repeated inconvenience and dissatisfaction caused. I hope management will take this feedback seriously and improve both honesty and quality control at the Eastpoint Mall outlet to prevent future occurrences.
