Had lunch and then bought a water chestnut drink. Cost me $1.90. But the drink was so so sweet. And anyone senior would know not to drink too sweet drinks. And this is the advice from the Health authorities of Singapore too. So I asked if I could have a cup of ice to dilute the sweet drink. They said I had to pay for it. WOW. It cost me $0.50 for the cup of ice. Is this the correct behavior for Kopi kiosk owner ? Because this is not supportive of the government nor should the food vendor too. Hope the authorities and kopi Tiam owner will help senior citizens of the country to serve better a d less sweet drinks and also help to defray and best to offer support to seniors who wishes to drink and eat healthy.
