Rude cashier/worker called ‘Chee Bye’ with zero basic manners. No greeting, just attitude as if customers are a nuisance. Wanted to buy drinks as if he’s the one who’s paying for it. Fruit juice was average at best, definitely not worth putting up with that kind of service. Plenty of better places around, skip this one. Better buy drinks first at 7-Eleven before come here. Kopi Kiosk near Lau Pa Sat is the kind of place you stop by when you want something quick, familiar, and comforting without spending much time thinking about it. The kopi is strong and aromatic, with that classic Singapore balance of bitterness and sweetness that hits perfectly in the morning. Most people come here on their way to work or during a short break, so the energy is fast but friendly. The staff work efficiently, and even during busy periods, the line moves quickly. It’s not a place where you sit down for a long meal, but it’s perfect for a short pause in the middle of a hectic day. The toast is simple but satisfying, especially if you enjoy traditional kaya or butter combinations. Vegetarian options are limited, but the basics are done well. The environment can get crowded, especially around lunch, but that’s part of the charm of a CBD kopi stall. Accessibility is mixed — the general area is easy to navigate, but the stall itself is tight. Overall, Kopi Kiosk delivers exactly what it promises: fast, affordable kopi with a nostalgic taste. It’s not fancy, but it doesn’t need to be. It’s the kind of spot you remember because it feels like a small piece of everyday Singapore life. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Vegetarian options: Vegetarian choices at Kopi Kiosk are simple and mostly snack‑based, which fits the quick‑service kopi stall style. You’ll find kaya toast, butter toast, and soft‑boiled eggs as the main non‑meat items. There aren’t plant‑based mains or modern vegetarian substitutes, so it’s more of a light‑bite stop than a full meal option. Most visitors who are vegetarian tend to pair toast with kopi or teh and treat it as a casual breakfast or mid‑day break. If you’re strict vegetarian, it’s easy to navigate, but if you’re vegan, the options narrow significantly. The stall doesn’t advertise vegan alternatives, so expectations should stay modest. Dietary restrictions: Kopi Kiosk doesn’t provide allergen labels or ingredient breakdowns, which is common for traditional kopi stalls. Drinks often include condensed milk, evaporated milk, or butter, so dairy‑free visitors need to request kopi‑O or teh‑O. Gluten‑free options are limited since most snacks involve bread. Staff are friendly but the pace is fast, so it’s not the kind of place where you can ask for detailed ingredient checks. People with strict dietary needs should stick to beverages without milk or sugar additives.
