While purchasing a Black Bean Sauce Bittergourd Rice set for my mother from SingYi ZiChar, and yet Cashier in photo submitted cannot understand what I was ordering, and kept pointing to the ala carte dishes. As I was trying to clarify my order, she proceeded to roast another customer; who was a domestic helper who came back with a printed CDC voucher; telling her to just order in English instead of her (apparently misunderstood) Mandarin next time. Since this cashier said thus, I proceeded to let her know I will get my mother to Call In to order—so as there is No Misunderstanding. Her colleague took the Call-Order, sent said order to the kitchen, and she advised me of my outstanding total of $7.10. I’d gave her $11.10, and she proceeded to dramatically put the $10 note and $1 coin between us, and loudly asked while staring at the cash “你到底给我多少（钱）” So I’d replied that since I’d give her $11.10, she just needed to give me change of $4. She proceeded to Tsk loudly, and slammed the change of $4 in 2pcs of $2 notes on her counter. My reply was a Sigh, and sarcastically telling her if she wanted exact change, or preferred e-Payment she could have just asked in either English or Mandarin—rather than loudly proclaiming she cannot do basic Mathematics. As I took a seat to wait for my order, she made a scene of loudly stating/replying “我不知道” repeatedly to other customers. When my order was ready, she slammed the packed order loudly on the table. I would like to highlight that before this, my Takeaway Order from Jin’s Kimchi’s Kimchi Stew also amounted to $7.10, and I’d given the Chinese Cashier $11.20. The Cashier proceeded to return me $4.10 with no issues/verbal retort or comments at all. To fellow residents/neighbours, I’d suggest you request to Call in advance to place your orders, And to prepare exact Cash or pay by e-payment lest Misunderstanding occurs due to the unpredictability of This SinYi ZiChar cashier (as illustrated in the photo submitted). To SinYi ZiChar, as this Cashier had proclaimed that she “cannot calculate”, you might want to ensure that she can(?) before she continues to take more orders, and accept payment for such?? Price per person: $1–10 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

DO NOT patronise Sing Yi chicken rice. The auntie hawker was extremely rude. I asked to add vegetable to my chicken rice and informed auntie nicely not to put fried shallot to my vegetable (most stalls put fried shallot and this was my first ordering). Auntie was mad and told me off, saying our stall don't put fried shallot blah blah blah. After I walked away, she continued bitching about me to her colleague. This was totally uncalled off, typical rude boomer behaviour. Chicken was also not cooked well, so bloody red. Meal type: Lunch Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
